Critic badge - Phantom of the Opera - Her Majesty’s Theatre, London, March 2023

 On Friday 31st March I started My Adventure for my Bronze Maverick, which will also count towards my World Traveller badge. As my original plans changed (originally I was going to be in London by myself to do the London Landmarks Half Marathon), the plans for our time there changed too. I bought tickets to see Phantom of the Opera. We had prepared ourselves beforehand by watching the film of the musical a couple of days before our visit. Walking along to the theatre it would be possible to miss it if you didn’t look for it, and I confess that althohgh I’ve seen Phantom in London before, I had not remembered what the theatre looked like (I think I was getting it mixed up with the Palace Theatre where I had seen Les Miserables somenyears before). In fact, very little of the initial experience this time tied in with my previous recollections - most likely due to the amount of time that has elapsed, and also as we were sat somewhere different. April Challenge part 1 - all for The Chocolate Challenge

 Just a quick post from me today, as I want to get back down in the sewing room to indulge in sewing tiny pieces together in the hole of using up some of my scraps (🤣🤣😂😂🤪 - yes, like that is ever going to happen!!), all whilst indulging in Howard’s Way, which has become even more appealing since I discovered that I could download episodes from series 1 (I had chanced upon it through the Sky TV guide so started watching from part way through series 4) - anyway, Howard’s Way is going to form part of my TV Critic badge. Donate an Easter Egg - I did this in March, having also bought some eggs for the young people in our household - and here is the photo:  I’ve started on the clause for trying 5 new flavours of chocolate that I’ve never tried before - and I’ve gone for Hotel Chocolat chocolates, which I bought at the train station on our return from London - a big little treat for me, and my review of them will be in a future blog, but here are a few of the flavours:  At ...
